How do I make a donation/give a memorial to the library?
The Bay County Library System accepts gifts of money at any branch or the bookmobile. A completed Donation Form and your gift of money can either be mailed or turned in at any branch or the bookmobile.
The Library also accepts new or used books, CD’s and DVD’s. The Library reserves the right to determine which materials will be put into the collection. All donated material that is not added to the collection goes to the Friend’s book sale for the public to purchase. All money raised by the Friends is returned to the Library to help fund programming and other needs.
Donors can also contribute money to the library’s endowment fund, the “Bay County Library Designated Fund,” which is administered by the Bay Area Community Foundation. Completed checks should be made out to the “BACF – Bay County Library Designated Fund,” and mailed to the Bay Area Community Foundation at 1000 Adams Street, Suite 200, Bay City, MI 48708.
