27th Annual Gift of Reading Program
Sponsored by the Bay County Library System, in cooperation with The Literacy Council of Bay County
Through Dec 6, 2014

Individuals and agencies in our local community are encouraged to donate new books or money to purchase new books for children in Bay County. Many area agencies arrange for the books to be delivered to families. The Literacy Council receives a number of books to use directly with students throughout the year. Thanks to generous community support in 2013, we received over $3,032 plus 230 books!

Donations may be dropped off any library branch, the bookmobile, BCLS’s administrative offices located inside the Alice & Jack Wirt Public Library at 500 Center Avenue, Bay City, MI 48708, or at the Literacy Council headquarters located at 407 West Ohio St., Bay City, MI 48706. In order to make sure that children receive your special gift in time for the holiday season, please forward your donation by Saturday, December 6, 2014.

If you have any questions, please contact program coordinator, Eileen Schulz, at the BCLS Administrative Offices, via e-mail at eschulz@baycountylibrary.org, or by phone at 894-2837 ext. 2225.
