Scheduled classes are listed on the Calendar of Events. Demand for these classes is high. Be sure to call early to get registered or click on the link (where applicable) to register online.

We offer computer classes in the computer lab, which is located on the second floor of the Wirt Library. Space is limited. If you are interested it is a good idea to call and register early.

The Bay County Library System partners with Delta College’s Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center in offering a “Business Start-Up Seminar,” which is held in the Kantzler Community Room at the Wirt Library.

For those who are interested in learning how to research your family history, we partner with the Bay County Genealogical Society in offering  beginner genealogy classes.

Booked for Lunch
Join your friends in Wirt Library’s Kantzler Community Room for this engaging author and reviewer Friday lecture series. Doors open at 11:30 am. The program runs from noon to 1:00 pm. Cookies, coffee and tea are provided by The Friends of the Bay County Libraries. No registration is necessary. You are welcome to bring a lunch! Each session includes a Q & A. Authors may have books for sale after the presentation.

National Library Week: Unlimited Possibilities @ Your Library

Celebrate your library from April 12 through 18 with a chance to win prizes! Each branch will have a drawing
at the end of the week for a gift card. There will be one system wide Grand Prize drawing for a Kindle Fire.
Patrons may enter the drawing once per day.  If you have any questions, please contact your branch library.
All week long…
• Free replacement of lost library card – an ID with current address is required;
• Late fees waived for all overdue items returned in good condition;
• 1 Free DVD/VHS rental per library card per day;
• Friend’s Book Sale items are ½ off;
• Food for Fines – one overdue fine will be waived for each nonperishable, shatter proof, unexpired
food item that you bring in to the library.
