Scheduled classes are listed on the Calendar of Events. Demand for these classes is high. Be sure to call early to get registered or click on the link (where applicable) to register online.

We offer computer classes in the computer lab, which is located on the second floor of the Wirt Library. Space is limited. If you are interested it is a good idea to call and register early.

The Bay County Library System partners with Delta College’s Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center in offering a “Business Start-Up Seminar,” which is held in the Kantzler Community Room at the Wirt Library.

For those who are interested in learning how to research your family history, we partner with the Bay County Genealogical Society in offering  beginner genealogy classes.

Smartest CardSeptember is Library Card Sign-Up Month
BCLS has planned great rewards for library card holders. Throughout the month of September, all patrons can get a free replacement card ($3.00 value). Show your library card at any service desk and receive an entry to win a gift card. Also, children 12 & under may show their library card at any of our children’s service desks and receive a small prize.

Fall Booked for Lunch Schedule
Join us in the Wirt Community Room for book reviews and presentations by authors! Doors
open at 11:30 am. The program runs on the following Fridays, noon-1 pm. Bring a lunch.
Coffee and cookies provided by Friends of the Bay County Libraries. No registration required.
