In celebration of Children’s Book Week, we will be offering special performances for children and their families!

World Music & Stories features musical selections, captivating stories, hands-on fun with musical instruments from around the world, a short interactive poem, and a hilarious musical skit.

Live musical accompaniment will feature music and musical instruments from the Caribbean, Western Africa, North America, Australia, Brazil and other countries/continents. Steel drums, didgeridoo, balafone, cuica, m’bira, m’bwataand berimbau are a few of the unique instruments that will be showcased!

This program will take place IN-PERSON at the Auburn Branch Library. Should health regulations change, in-person programs may switch to Zoom. You will be notified of any format change via the contact info you provide at registration. MASKS ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED AT ALL IN-PERSON EVENTS.
