Food Preservation with MSU Extension

Join Lisa Treiber from MSU Extension to learn various food preservation methods for items grown in your garden this summer.  This 4 week series will include information on the following topics: Blanching and Freezing, Preserving What’s Left in Your Garden, Too Many Tomatoes and Making Applesauce.

Too Many Tomatoes!

Nothing tastes better than a home canned tomato. Or maybe you are more comfortable learning how to freeze them. This session will cover the basics of water bath canning, steam canning and freezing techniques.  Attend the demonstration, leave with information to preserve your tomatoes safely.

How to Attend

This program will be held virtually via Zoom. Registration is required and limited to 100 devices. Please only register one seat per family. The Zoom link will be emailed before the program.
