WORLD WAR TWO ON THE HOME FRONT

President Roosevelt called Michigan “The Arsenal Of Democracy”. This is the story of Saginaw’s Gun Plant, Bay City’s Defoe Shipbuilding and Midland’s Dow Chemical. All three made significant contributions to the war effort. Michigan also housed thousands of POW’s, many of them right growing our food.

Adults are invited to attend.

Registration is required.  Register at the library, online, or by phone.
