READING IS DINO-MITE!
Join the Summer Reading Program at your library June 8-August 8, 2026!
Reading is dino-mite! Pick up a paper reading log at any library branch or participate online using READsquared! Complete the program by reading or listening for 8 hours, then return your log for a chance to win prizes! Additional logs will also be entered into a prize drawing. All logs must be returned by August 16. There is a space for everyone - whether you are 9 months or 99 years old - we all need to read or be read to!
HOW IT WORKS
- Sign up and log your reading beginning June 8. You can participate fully online or use our paper logs.
- Log 8 hours of reading or listening before August 8 to complete the program.
- Keep logging and earn more prize drawing entries for every additional 8 hours you read/listen.
PRIZES
Read or listen for a total of 8 hours and log your reading to earn entries into a drawing for a For every additional 8 hours you read, you will have more chance to win!
***Please note: Grand prize drawings are available to Bay County residents only.
Children's Prize Drawings
For each log completed, children will be entered into a drawing with a chance to win:

Upon completion of the program, each child birth-grade 5 will also receive a free book to keep, several coupons for summer fun at area businesses, and an entry into the above end-of-summer prize drawing of their choice.
