Winter Reading Program 2026

 

About the 2026 Program

Glide into reading in the Annual Winter Reading Program! Read or listen for a total of 8 hours and log your reading to earn entries into a drawing. The more you read the more chances to win!  
 

HOW IT WORKS

  • Sign up beginning January 5. Pick up a log at your branch or track your reading online through our READsquared site or the READsquared app.
  • Log 8 hours of reading and/or listening to complete the program.
  • Keep logging to earn more prize drawing entries for every additional 8 hours you read/listen.
  • Finish by March 7th to enter the prize drawing(s).

Children (Birth-Grade 5)

Teens (Grades 6-12)

Adults (Age 18 and up)

Preschool Storytime

Join us with your preschooler for stories, rhymes, music, movement, and early literacy fun!

Best for ages 2-5 with a participating caregiver.

Registration for all BCLS Winter storytimes begins on Friday, December 5, 2025. Fall storytimes will run for a seven-week session, through the week of January 5-February 20, 2026.
