Event Details
Join Randy Kursinsky, vice-president of Mid-Michigan Rock Club and an amateur rock and fossil collector. Learn a beginner's guide to identifying rocks, fossils and rock like/man made materials that could be confused with natural rocks on Michigan beaches. Tips on collecting techniques, where and when to collect and laws regarding collecting on different types of properties will be shared.
Those in attendance are welcome to bring a small amount of items for Randy to help identify after if there is time!
