Event Details

In the program titled Honey Bees and Liquid Gold, find out how bees make honey and how it is harvested. Learn the life cycle of the honey bee as well as the three different types of bees in the hive and their respective roles. You will also learn the importance of pollination to our food supply and can participate in a question-and-answer session with an actual beekeeper. Observe live honey bees safely in an observation hive, and make a hand rolled beeswax candle to take home!
