Program Description

Event Details

Backyard maple syrup producer, Don Snoeyink, provides a fun, educational maple syrup program. In it he describes and teaches the old ways of gathering and processing maple sap while bringing participants through the progression to modern methods of production. Patrons enjoy learning how to identify a maple tree with its leaves on or without them. Don shows illustrative pictures on a screen that enhance his passionate, informative presentation style. A drizzle of maple syrup on a taste of vanilla ice cream leaves people with a sweet taste in their mind after the show.
