Alice & Jack Wirt Public Library

Library patrons are able to use the Memory Lab equipment to digitize, edit, and store personal media. These personal media items would include home recordings on videocassette and audiocassette; paper items including photographs, letters, scrapbooks, and also photo slides.

Equipment

Equipment provided in the BCLS Memory Lab includes:

  • A Videocassette to DVD/Mp4 converter
  • An Audiocassette to Mp3 digital file converter
  • An 11”x14” Flatbed scanner with the ability to digitally scan oversized documents and quickly scan multiple smaller paper items (letters, photos, etc.)
  • A Book Scanner to easily scan bound items such as scrapbooks
  • A photo slide to digital file converter
