The Evening Sessions is a monthly adult program series featuring a fun and engaging mix of presentations, lectures, workshops, demonstrations, author visits, and performances on topics covering the arts, culture, history, science, and more!

 

Trevor Edmonds, program director for the Saginaw Basin Land Conservancy will join us to talk about Saginaw Basin Land Conservancy's tree planting efforts & urban canopy restoration in the Saginaw Bay Watershed

Trevor Edmonds serves as the Saginaw Basin Land Conservancy's (SBLC) program manager. He is a Michigan Master Naturalist and International Society of Arboriculture (ISA)-certified arborist and holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental conservation from Northern Michigan University. He has served the SBLC for thirteen years. Trevor serves as the on-the-ground daily project manager for SBLC capital projects. He has been a key part of the organization’s recent restoration projects over the last decade. As the technical leader of the SBLC’s staff, Trevor works directly with contractors, suppliers, and volunteers to ensure the site is being designed and developed according to the best possible plans and works with our agency regulators from the State of Michigan and the United States government.
