Event Details
Celebrate Michigan Financial Wellness Month with a fun, hand-on program that blends storytime, math, and real-life money skills! Kids will explore budgeting, saving, and smart spending through an interactive story. Then, using a menu with real prices, they will practice making choices and staying within a budget as they build their own sweet and savory charcuterie board.
Each child will receive a free copy of the book How Do You Spend? by Cinders McLeod, generously provided by the Michigan Credit Union Foundation.
This program is made possible through the generous support of our community partners, Wildfire Credit Union and United Financial Credit Union.
This program will take place at each of our BCLS branches on the following dates:
Sage: Thursday, April 2, 5:30pm-6:30pm
Auburn: Tuesday, April 7, 4:30pm-5:30pm
Wirt: Tuesday, April 14, 4:30-pm-5:30pm
Pinconning: Thursday, April 16, 6:00pm-7:00pm
